WC-WORK COMP CODE

WORKMAN'S COMP ACCESS CODE

2 character Access Code for a Workman's Comp Master Record.

This code can be Alphabetic or Numeric depending on how many, and
what type of Worker's Comp Records you need.

The Code is used in the EMPLOYEE MASTER RECORD when the W/C rate
for an Employee is THE SAME NO MATTER WHAT TYPE OF WORK HE DOES.

If the W/C Rate varies BY TYPE OF WORK PERFORMED, then the Code is entered
in the Cost Code Master File, where the various Cost Codes are tied to the different
W/C Risk or Manual #'s. Then, when a Cost Code is selected for a Job, it brings the
W/C Code with it. ALL WORK PERFORMED on that Cost Code will have that W/C Rate
tied to it EXCEPT for any Employees that have a W/C Code in their Employee Master
Record.
