This is a YEAR TO DATE Statement of INCOME and EXPENSES, with COMPARISON TO
BUDGETED AMOUNTS.
BUDGET AMOUNTS are stored in the CHART OF ACCOUNTS MASTER RECORD, which is
accessible from the Parameter Screen Window Menu. Budget Amounts are entered here as
YEARLY BUDGET AMOUNTS. The program will compute the Monthly Amount and multiply it
times the number of months represented on this Report to arrive at a YEAR TO DATE BUDGET.
All items on this Report are specified in the G/L Statement Definition File. Revenue Items are
listed first with ACTUAL YEAR TO DATE, BUDGETED YEAR TO DATE, OVER/UNDER $'s and
PERCENTAGE OVER/UNDER. Totals are printed at the end of the Revenue Items.
The next group of items are DIRECT CONTRACT COSTS, which have the same format as above.
At the end of this group is a Total on one line for UNAPPLIED INDIRECT JOB COST from
Schedule 1 (see below).
After a SUBTOTAL of Direct Contract Costs, the GROSS PROFIT is shown on the next line.
A SUMMARY of General & Administrative Expenses from Schedule 2 (see below) is printed
on the next line, with INCOME ON OPERATIONS printed on the Line following.
Next are listed OTHER INCOME and OTHER EXPENSE Items in detail, and the following
total is NET INCOME BEFORE TAXES.
After a listing of INCOME TAXES the NET PROFIT (LOSS) YEAR-TO-DATE line is printed.
Schedule 1 follows which is a breakdown of INDIRECT JOB COST ITEMS
Schedule 2 is the final section which lists a breakdown of GENERAL & ADMINISTRATIVE
EXPENSES.
