A/R - RETAINED

AMOUNT INPUT BOX for RETAINED AMOUNT or optional PERCENTAGE.

This Amount is usually DEBITED to ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE - RETAINED
and CREDITED to the JOB SALES or REVENUE ACCOUNT specified in
Sales Type of Transaction Master Record.

         Example:        Job Sales entry -   900.00
                                   Retained entry       100.00

                                   Total                       1000.00

PERCENTAGE entry.

If you enter a VALUE of .10 or less, it will be treated as a RETAINAGE PERCENTAGE,
and will DEDUCT that percentage from the Job Sales Amount and enter the COMPUTED
RETAINAGE in this field.

         Example:        Job Sales entry - 1000.00
                                   Retained entry              .10

                                         recomputed as:

                                    Job Sales           -   900.00
                                     Retained             -  100.00                
 
                                     Total                    - 1000.00
